A major target of English Premier League outfit Liverpool and German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt star Luka Jovic has been captured by Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.

The Reds team have long been in search for this star player alongside West London outfit Chelsea.

His quality was known and evident when his club clashed with Chelsea in the Europa League semi-final as he was on target in the game.

It has now been confirmed that Luka Jovic is a Real Madrid player and would be seen in white colours in the coming season.

Luka Jovic had joined the German Bundesliga outfit on loan from Benfica in 2017 but for his impressive performance, it was made permanent.

He also impressed this season, scoring 17 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances – as well as 10 in 14 Europa League games.

France international striker Karim Benzema is winding up his career at Real Madrid and Luka Jovic has been tipped to be a long-term replacement for him.

Real Madrid suffered a very disappointing last season which prompted the return of manager Zinedine Zidane to help return the club back to its glory days.

Manager Zinedine Zidane will need a number of players to help him actualize his target with Luka Jovic inclusive.
