Premier League club West Ham United have made an improved bid for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes according to fresh reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.
According to the publication from Goal, the Hammers have made a £20m deal for Andre Gomes.
Portuguese international midfielder Andre Gomes impressed a great deal while he was on loan at Merseyside club Everton.
Andre Gomes joined Everton on a season-long loan deal last summer from Barcelona.
He scored one goal in 27 appearances for Everton in the Premier League.

Andre Gomes has been attracting the interest of several English top flight clubs as a result of his impressive displays for Everton.
Liverpool are one of the clubs linked with him as well as East London giants West Ham United and three-time European champions Manchester United.
The Hammers had earlier made the first bid of £18m before the latest offer of £20m though Barcelona are holding out for at least £25m before they sanction his transfer.
Andre Gomes was deemed to be surplus to requirements last summer before his loan move to Everton and the status is still the same.
The 2016 European Championship winner signed for Barcelona ahead of arch rivals Real Madrid shortly after he helped Portugal to win the tournament in France.
