West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez is closing in on a return to Spain this summer according to the latest reports from the British media.

The specific publication from The Sun claimed that the Mexican international player will sign for Spanish La Liga club Valencia this summer.

It was revealed that Los Che will pay £8m for his transfer from West Ham United.

Former Manchester United striker spent some time in Spain with La Liga giants Real Madrid five years ago and he’s on the verge of returning to the top flight of Spanish football.

Valencia finished in the fourth position at the end of the just concluded Spanish La Liga season thereby sealing a spot in the Champions League next season.

In addition, the former La Liga champions also reached the Europa League semifinals before they were eliminated by Premier League club Arsenal via a 7-3 aggregate loss.

Javier Hernandez last played in the Champions League while he was at German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and he will certainly be involved once again upon his move to Valencia.

The Mexican international star joined the Hammers in 2017 from Bayer Leverkusen and went on to score 17 goals for the East London outfit over two seasons.
