Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed to a long-term contract with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan ahead of a move this summer according to reports emanating from the media in Italy.

The Belgian international star Lukaku has emerged as a top transfer target for the Nerazzurri during this summer’s transfer window following the request of incoming manager Antonio Conte.

The former Chelsea boss is expected to be named the Inter Milan manager soonest and he has told the Nerazzurri to sign Romelu Lukaku.

The specific publication from the stables of Italian transfer news outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport claimed that Lukaku has agreed to a pre-bonus salary of around €7m per year.

The former Everton and West Brom player has reached an agreement over a five-year contract.

It’s left for the two clubs, Inter Milan and Manchester United, to agree on a transfer fee for him though the Red Devils are almost likely to demand the £75m spent on his transfer.

The Belgian striker signed for the Red Devils in 2017 after they paid Everton £75m for his services thus making him one of the most expensive signing in the history of Manchester United apart from his buddy Paul Pogba who set the Red Devils back to the tune of £89m when he re-signed for them in 2016.
