Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have concluded plans to sell midfielder Ivan Rakitic this summer according to widespread reports in the media.
Croatian international Rakitic has faced scrutiny over his role at Barcelona this season following the Catalan giants’ disappointing end to the season and he could be sold with clubs like Inter Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United interested in a deal for the former Sevilla player.
According to the specific report from Diario Sport, Barcelona are looking to move €50m-rated Rakitic on this summer as well as eight other first team players at the club.
Rakitic and Barcelona retained the Spanish La Liga title with several games to go but they were unable to record the same feat in the Spanish Copa Del Rey.
