Chelsea vs Arsenal: the “killer” squad unveiled by Sarri revealed

Published

West London outfit Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is not leaving anything to chance ahead of the highly anticipated Europa League finals against their London rivals Arsenal later today at Baku.

According to Evening Standard, manager Maurizio Sarri has released the names of those that he expects to trade tackles with the North London outfit to secure a win and his first title in his debut season after a disappointing one in the Carabao Cup.

However, Kepa Arrizabalaga, David Luiz Andrea Christensen, Emerson, Ross Barkley, Jorginho, Willian, Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard have all been lined up for the game.

A lot of points is needed to be proven by the former Napoli boss and that will only be done with a win in the game, with suggestions that he could be sacked if he fails to win the title.

More so, it seems to be the last game for Belgium international Eden Hazard as he could be on his way to Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid. A win will ensure he leaves on a very high ovation.

Howbeit, the Blues team might not be able to secure any new player for the next season which makes the Europa League title a good chance to win before the predicted drought.

Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a move for Gremio forward Everton Soares this summer.

This is according to The Sun which revealed that an Arsenal doctor has landed in Brazil for the player’s medical.

It was revealed that the Gunners have agreed to a £36m for the young Brazilian attacker.

Everton Soares is seen as a cheaper option by Arsenal in comparison with Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha who has an asking price of £80m.

Arsenal had earlier made a £40m for Zaha which was swiftly rejected by their fellow Premier League club.

Wilfried Zaha is still keen to leave Crystal Palace for his dream transfer to Arsenal.

The Gremio attacker was a key player for the Brazilian national team at the tournament.

He won the man-of-the-match award during the final between Brazil and Peru.

Everton Soares

North London giants Arsenal retain interest in Gremio forward Everton Soares amidst their pursuit of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.

According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners have made Everton Soares their first alternative in the event that they are unable to sign Wilfried Zaha this summer.

Ivorian national team player Zaha is the top priority for Arsenal manager Unai Emery in his quest to sign a winger this summer.

Arsenal have made their intentions known on Wilfried Zaha but their first offer of £40m was turned down at the start of this month with Crystal Palace holding out for more money.

Crystal Palace have demanded at least £80m from Arsenal for their star player and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners will be able to convince the Eagles to sell Zaha for a lesser amount.

The player has already informed the club that he wants to leave for Arsenal this summer.

In the event that Zaha don’t get his dream move to Arsenal, the Gunners will turn their attention to Everton Soares who was one of the best players at the just concluded COPA America tournament on his home soil.

He helped Brazil to win the tournament via a 3-1 win over Peru in their final clash.

€60m Asking Price Slammed On Arsenal Target Malcom

malcom

North London giants Arsenal have been dealt a major transfer blow in their pursuit of Barcelona winger Malcom after his club slammed an outrageous transfer fee on him.

The Gunners are one of many clubs interested in the young Brazilian player but the transfer fee quoted by Barcelona will almost certainly scare them away.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Barcelona won’t let Malcom leave the club permanently unless they receive €60m for him which will represent a profit of €19m.

Malcom became a Barcelona player last summer after the Catalan giants snapped him up from under the noses of Italian Serie A club AS Roma.

The Italian capital club had agreed on a deal with his then club, Bordeaux before Barcelona swooped in on him.

The 21-year-old has spent one year at Barcelona but he has not been able to nail down a spot in the first XI.

Malcom has been on the fringes of the first team at Barcelona and the recent arrival of Antoine Griezmann has pushed him further down the attacking order at the Nou Camp.

Apart from Arsenal, the Brazilian player has also been linked with a move to other Premier League sides like Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Sky Sports, Spurs have pulled out of the race to sign the 18-year-old centre back.

Dani Ceballos is surplus to requirements at Real Madrid at the moment but the Spanish midfielder is keen to prove his worth at the club in the long-term.
