The Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has finally reacted to claims that his club seeks to land Chelsea star Eden Hazard in this summer transfer window.
The report of a deal have been in the media for months after the Belgium international made it clear that he would like to work under his football idol Zinedine Zidane after refusing to commit his future to the club.
Talks are reported to be ongoing as the West London outfit have given up on keeping the star player after making efforts to convince him to stay, especially as it is clear that they might not be able to land a replacement for him any time soon.
However, Florentino Perez has admitted, while speaking to Onda Cero radio in Spain that he would be happy to sign the Belgium international for the coming season, stressing that he is one of the best players in the world at the moment.
Meanwhile, manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted the quality of the Blues star but made it clear that he would not be able to replace Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo who has left the club to join the Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
