Europa League finalists Arsenal will have to fend off the interest of several Premier League sides in the bid to sign Reading striker Danny Loader.
This is according to the publication from the stables of popular media outlet Goal which claimed that the Gunners are plotting a move for the young English player.
Danny Loader was part of the England u17 squad that won the FIFA u17 World Cup two years ago.
Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton are also interested in the young Reading player.
Danny Loader made 22 appearances for Reading this season as he helped the Royals escape relegation from the English Championship.
He has a year left on his contract with the Royals and they might have to sell him this summer or risk losing him for nothing at the end of the new season.
Premier League clubs are not the only ones in the frame to sign Danny Loader.
French Ligue 1 clubs Lille and Rennes are eyeing a move for the 18-year-old striker as well.
Danny Loader might not be the signing for the present but he’s definitely one for the future if the Gunners can manage to pull off his transfer.
