The interest in Belgium international and Man United striker Romelu Lukaku by the Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan has been confirmed ahead of the summer transfer window.

Romelu Lukaku has not been favoured in the Man United team under manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer as he failed to put up a good performance in the course of last season with just a few goals to boast of.

However, it has long been reported that Romelu Lukaku seeks to leave the Old Trafford and now his wish could be granted with claims that he is on the list of that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaher wants to show the way out.

It is therefore suggested that Romelu Lukaku will not be left without suitors as the new Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Belgium international and would insist on having him.

Antonio Conte has got plans to rebuild the Inter Milan team to be able to challenge Juventus for the Serie A title but that will only happen with the presence of quality players.

However, Romelu Lukaku is not alone in the wish list of the former Chelsea boss with Nigerian international Victor Moses also mentioned as his number one targets for the coming season.

Premier League giants Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defender Thomas Meunier during this transfer window.

This is according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Mail which claimed that Arsenal want to bolster their squad defensively with a new right-back and PSG star Thomas Meunier is a target.

It was also revealed that PSG want £27m for Thomas Meunier excluding add-ons and the said asking price could rule the Gunners out of the running to sign the Belgian international.

North London giants Arsenal are not the only Premier League club keen to sign Thomas Meunier this summer with rivals Manchester United also interested in him.

The two Premier League clubs want to sign a new right-back this summer and Thomas Meunier is a target for both teams.

First choice Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin might not be fit for the rest of the season after missing the second half of last season with a serious knee injury and the Gunners want to bring in a cover for him.

Young Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles played at right-back for the better part of the second half of last season with mixed results while aging Swiss international right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner has been released after just one season in North London.

According to the Daily Mirror, Mata is closing in on an agreement with Manchester United over a new contract.

The 31-year-old Spanish international has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks with several major European sides including Arsenal.

Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia were in the same situation, but both players have been released while Manchester United have held on to Mata.

According to an official statement from the club last month, the Spaniard has been offered a new deal but it must be pointed out that an agreement has not been reached between the player and Manchester United.

The new development suggests that an agreement between the two parties is in sight.

Juan Manuel Mata will almost certainly be staying at Manchester United rather than join Arsenal where he could have reunited with Gunners boss Unai Emery.

The former Chelsea star played for Arsenal manager Unai Emery while he was the Valencia boss before the player left Spain for Stamford Bridge.

English Premier League outfit Liverpool have been told that they can now land their star target David Neres in this summer transfer window, according to a claim by De Telegraaf journalist Marcel van der Kraan.

According to him, Ajax are now ready to part ways with the forward but they have been told that they will have to pay the sum of £80m before he would be released.

Liverpool have been told that they are not alone in the chase of the star player and that makes his fee higher than expected.

David Neres scored a total of 12 goals for Ajax last season and was a major part of the team that delivered a good run in the UEFA Champions League before they were eliminated in the semi-final.

However, the journalist confirmed that Ajax have been receiving offers for David Neres, noting that a Chinese club offered £50 million but there is yet to be talks on the move.

It is claimed that Marc Overmars is not interested in seeing David Neres move to the Chinese league and most importantly, wants him around for another season.

The situation is now left for Liverpool to either push for a move for the player or hold back.

Merseyside outfit Liverpool have indicated interest in Leicester City star player James Maddison and there are speculations that they will be making a move for him in this summer transfer window.

The Reds team are not alone in the fight for the player as Man United are also reported to be interested.

James Maddison is a top class player who has proven to be one of the best in the English Premier League as long as the just-concluded season is concerned.

It is still unknown where he would be heading to, as none of the teams have made a tangible offer for him but he has already learned of the interest and has a reply.

James Maddison in his response claims that he only sees his being linked to Liverpool as a compliment as he would not want to get himself distracted.

He suggested that he would be focusing on staying with the Foxes for the coming season and becoming a better player rather than listen to speculations.

However, it is unsure if Liverpool will still make a move for the player with the presence of Sadio Mane and Divock Origi who are already being tipped to deliver better performance next season.

Loris Karius

Reports according to Hurriyet via Sport Witness says Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius will not be returning back to Anfield on a permanent basis as he is currently on loan with Turkish outfit Besiktas.

Life was not all smooth for the German goalkeeper when he first joined the Turkish outfit as he was also owed wages but that did not stop him from proving himself as a good goalkeeper as he ended the season strongly.

When asked if he would be returning to England to join Liverpool, he stated that he has a debt to pay the Turkish team and will hope to remain and have it done.

According to him, there are a number of options available for him but he wants to remain with Besiktas to continue with his progress and become a great goalkeeper.

However, Loris Karius is reported to have options from Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma but from his claim, he would not be joining them.

Howbeit, the coming of Alisson Becker to Liverpool have been able to solve a lot regarding their defensive issues as he helped the team with a number of clean sheets in the course of the just-concluded season, in addition, to help them win the UEFA Champions League.

Juan Mata

There seems to be a major twist at the Old Trafford following reports that want-away star Juan Mata could be staying back with English Premier League side Man United for the coming season.

It was earlier reported that Juan Mata would be parting ways with the Red Devils and would be heading to French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain as his contract with the club was set to expire.

But in a quick twist, it is claimed that he is very close to agreeing on a new deal with Man United for a stay, according to David McDonnell.

The midfielder joined United from Chelsea for a fee of £37.5 million in 2014 and would be out of contract in two weeks, but there is a bid by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to have him stay back for another season because of how well he has impressed.

David McDonnell, therefore, writes that the discussions between Man United and the player are 90 percent complete as he expects talks to be concluded in a few days

Juan Mata currently earns £140,000-a-week with the Old Trafford giants but there are expectorations that it would be increased in order to have him convinced of a better life at Old Trafford
