Man Utd Target Sergio Ramos Considering Real Madrid Exit

Sergio Ramos

Premier League giants Manchester United have been boosted by the news that one of their defensive transfer targets is considering a possible exit from his club.

Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos is a long-term transfer target for Manchester United and the Spanish international could be available this summer if he decides to leave the reigning European champions.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Sergio Ramos is considering his exit from Real Madrid this summer after a disappointing campaign.

Real Madrid had one of their worst seasons in recent times during this campaign.

The Los Merengues were out of contention for all the major competitions as at the start of March.

Real Madrid finished third on the Spanish La Liga table in addition to suffering elimination from the Spanish Copa Del Rey at the hands of arch rivals Barcelona before Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam stunned them to elimination in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have been long-term admirers of Sergio Ramos and the two clubs will most definitely make a move for him in the event that he decides to leave Real Madrid.

Sergio Ramos, 33, has been a Real Madrid player since joining the club from fellow top flight side Sevilla in 2005.
