Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan have agreed to terms with Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku as they close in on a deal for him this summer.
The salary agreement between Inter Milan and the player was revealed by the Daily Mirror.
Inter Milan are pushing for a summer move for Belgian international star Lukaku who’s no longer dispensable at Manchester United.
The aforementioned publication further revealed that Inter Milan are hoping to secure his transfer for £50m which is still far from the £70m valuation placed on the player by senior Manchester United officials.
Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be made the Inter Milan manager in the coming days and he’s said to have requested for the signing of the aforementioned Lukaku.
Conte will return to the Inter Milan dugout as a replacement for Luciano Spalletti who has run his course with the Nerazzurri.
Romelu Lukaku has three years left on his Manchester United contract at the moment but that’s not expected to get in the way of Inter Milan in their quest to sign the all-time leading goalscorer for the Belgian national team.
The 26-year-old scored 12 league goals for Manchester United during the recently concluded Premier League season but his output was only enough for sixth position.
