Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are reportedly not willing to increase their €75m bid for highly rated Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt.
The 19-year-old Ajax skipper is one of the most sought-after players in the transfer window this summer with several clubs interested in his signature.
Five-time European champions Barcelona are said to be the favourites to sign him but the Catalans are not willing to increase their bid for him.
According to the publication from popular English media outlet Goal, Barcelona want to tempt Matthijs De Ligt away from Ajax without having to deal with his agent Mino Raiola or increase their offer for him.
Mino Raiola will most likely not be involved in De Ligt’s transfer after he was handed a worldwide transfer ban for three months.
The Super Agent was initially banned for three months in Italy before FIFA officials decided to extend his ban beyond the shores of Italy.
Ajax Amsterdam chief and former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar had earlier revealed this month that De Ligt will leave the club for either Spain or England this summer.
De Ligt was phenomenal for Ajax this season after he captained his team to a domestic double (Dutch Eredivisie and Dutch Cup).
