Barcelona shot stopper Jasper Cillessen has agreed to personal terms with Portuguese giants Benfica according to the publication from Goal.
Benfica have reached an agreement with Jasper Cillessen but Barcelona are still holding out for more money for his transfer.
Benfica value him at around €15m but Barcelona is holding out for €25m.
Dutch international Cillessen wants to leave Spanish champions Barcelona this summer after failing to usurp German shot stopper Marc Andre Ter Stegen as the first choice goalkeeper at the Nou Camp.
The 30-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United as a potential replacement for David De Gea if the Spaniard decides to leave the Old Trafford this summer.
De Gea has one year left on his current deal with the Red Devils.
Manchester United will have to look elsewhere for a replacement if De Gea leaves the club with Benfica closing in on a summer move for the former Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper.
Jasper Cillesen has made just five league appearances during his three-year spell at Barcelona following his move from Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam and he’s keen to leave the club in search of more first team opportunities.
In total, the ex-Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper has made ten appearances for Barcelona in all competitions this season.
