Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan have reportedly made an official bid for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
According to experienced Italian journalist Tancredi Palmieri, Inter Milan were said to have offered €30m plus winger Ivan Perisic for Romelu Lukaku.
Inter Milan are closing in on the appointment of Antonio Conte as their new manager this summer.
Former Chelsea boss Conte will replace Luciano Spalletti as the Inter Milan manager this summer.
Conte has requested for the signing of Lukaku who endured a topsy-turvy campaign at Manchester United during the just concluded Premier League season.
Romelu Lukaku struggled in front of goal though he was still able to score 12 league goals in 32 Premier League games.
The Belgian striker has three years left on the five-year deal he penned upon joining the Red Devils in the summer of 2017.
His transfer at the start of last season made him the second most expensive signing at Manchester United.
The Red Devils splashed a whooping sum of £75m to secure his transfer from Everton.
Manchester United have a longstanding interest in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic but it remains to be seen whether the offer from the Nerazzurri would be enough to secure the signing of the aforementioned Lukaku.
