Aston Villa have concluded plans to secure the permanent transfer of defender Axel Tuanzebe this summer after he impressed throughout the course of this campaign, especially in the league.

Axel Tuanzebe is on a season-long loan deal at English Championship club Aston Villa from Premier League giants Manchester United.

He joined Villa on loan at the start of the season and he has been an instant hit at Villa Park.

According to the publication from the Daily Mirror, Aston Villa want to make his loan deal a permanent one alongside those of Tyrone Mings and Tammy Abraham.

Defender Mings is on loan from Premier League outfit Bournemouth and he has been in very good form this season.

For Tammy Abraham, the Chelsea loanee has almost single-handedly fired Villa to the top flight of English football after scoring 26 goals in the league.

Unlike Tuanzebe and Mings, Aston Villa might find it difficult for Villa to convince Chelsea to sell Tammy Abraham.

For now, Aston Villa have a Playoff final date with Derby County in nine days’ time to determine the third and final promoted team for the Premier League.

Norwich City and Sheffield United have already taken the first two spots automatically after they finished first and second respectively.
