Premier League giants Manchester United are a step close to making their first signing of this summer as the Red Devils bid to overhaul their playing squad ahead of the new campaign.
According to the publication from the London Evening Standard, it was revealed that the Red Devils want to complete a deal for Swansea City winger Daniel James as soon as possible.
It was revealed that Manchester want to wrap up their deals before July 1.
The new development corroborates the statement from Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which revealed that the club wants to conduct their transfer business before their preseason tour.
Solskjaer wants the new players latest by the second week of July which will mark the start of their preseason.
Daniel James has been in very good form for Swansea City in the English Championship though his superb outings didn’t propel the Welsh club to the playoffs for the Premier League.
He could be a cheaper alternative for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho who’s also attracting the interest of the Red Devils after a stellar campaign for his German Bundesliga club.
Daniel James has scored one goal in two games for the Welsh national team.
Manchester United are keen to sign a new winger this summer and Daniel James could be the man for the post.
