PAOK FC of Greece striker Chuba Akpom was the hero for his team following their Greek Cup triumph at the Olympic Stadium in Athens on Saturday.

The Nigerian-born English striker scored the only goal of the game to give PAOK a 1-0 win over AEK Athens in their Greek Cup final clash.

The only goal of the game arrived on the stroke of the halftime interval through the aforementioned Akpom and PAOK thereafter held on to that slim advantage until the end of the game.

It was his eighth goal in all competitions for PAOK FC this season as the Greek champions completed a fantastic domestic double.

They had earlier gone through the entire 2018/19 league season without a single defeat enroute to winning the Greek Super League title ahead of clubs like AEK Athens, Olympiacos and others.

PAOK Salonika won 26 games and drew just four out of the 30 matches played in the top flight of Greek football.

In total, PAOK FC amassed 82 points to win the league.

Chuba Akpom has been a hit with PAOK FC since he joined the club after his release from Arsenal at the end of last season.

He came through the Arsenal Academy before making his debut for the first team at the Emirates Stadium.
