Former Chelsea and Juventus manager Antonio Conte is eyeing a move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku ahead of this summer according to the media in the United Kingdom.

Conte is set to take the Inter Milan job in the coming weeks and he wants Lukaku to be one of his first signings at the club.

The Italian tactician will replace Luciano Spalletti at Inter Milan who’s expected to leave the San Siro at the end of this campaign.

Conte has already agreed on a three-year contract with Inter Milan worth €10m on a yearly basis.

Romelu Lukaku has already talked up a possible move away from Manchester United with Inter Milan reportedly linked with the ex-Everton hitman.

According to the publication from the Daily Mail, Conte wants Belgian international Lukaku as a replacement for wantaway Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

Argentine national team striker Icardi has a rocky relationship with Inter Milan and he’s expected to leave the Italian giants when the summer transfer window reopens in the summer.

Romelu Lukaku would definitely be a formidable replacement for the aforementioned Icardi.

The Belgian striker has not had the best of seasons at Manchester United but he has still scored 14 goals in all competitions including 12 goals in the Premier League.
