Tottenham to hijack Liverpool deal by meeting Maxi Gomez’s release clause

It hasd2 been reported that North London outfit Liverpool are ready to hijack a deal for Spanish La Liga outfit Celta Vigo star Maxi Gomez which the Merseyside outfit Liverpool have already indicated interest.

There have been a number of speculations on the star player over the last few weeks and a number of names have been mentioned with Liverpool being in the front of the race.

Maxi Gomez has impressed so far this season and that is why he has caught the attention of a number of top teams as a price tag of £43 has been hooked to his name.

Despite recording a successful season against all odds and reaching the finals of the Champions League, manager Mauricio Pochettino is holding the opinion that his team are short in quality and will need to add more

There is also a need to have some options for Harry Kane and Dele Alli in the team which is the reason why attention is paid to Maxi Gomez.

The report has it that the North London outfit are now willing to meet the asking price of the star player which means the Merseyside outfit will not be able to land Maxi Gomez ahead of the coming season.
