Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea will have to make a decision on the new contract offer from the club as doubts linger on his future at Old Trafford.
This is according to the report from popular news outlet The Sun which claimed that the Spanish international shot-stopper has been given just one week to decide if he wants to sign the new contract offer or not.
Manchester United want him to make a decision before the end of this Premier League season next Sunday.
David De Gea has one year left on his current Manchester United deal and the club might be forced to sell him this summer rather than let the Spaniard leave as a free agent when his contract expires in 2020.
He had few months left on his contract which was to expire this summer before Manchester United activated the extra year clause in it to take it to next summer.
The Sun also claimed that French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are prepared to offer his around £350,000 to leave England for France this summer.
Italian champions Juventus are also interested in De Gea.
It has been claimed that the protracted contract saga involving De Gea has been affecting him following the uncharacteristic errors in recent games.
The former Atletico Madrid star has made three errors leading to goals in his last four games in all competitions.
