A former player John Barnes has told manager Jurgen Klopp that the English Premier League side Liverpool do not have a need for any new player in the coming summer transfer window.

From every indication, the Merseyside outfit will miss out of the English Premier League title as it looks unlikely that defending champions Man City will lose a game before the end of the season.

With the 3-0 defeat suffered against Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League, it was concluded by pundits that the Jurgen Kopp team have a big need for a striker as the Reds could not deliver a goal against Barcelona in the first leg.

The Jurgen Klopp team have got Brazilian international Roberto Firmino as their point man but it is claimed that there is a need to have a competition for him I’m the attack as the defence has already been settled with the coming of Virgil Van Dijk and goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

However, John Barnes stated that there will be no need for new players in the coming summer window as he claimed that the Reds team have got Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returning from injury after a long layout.

Howbeit, manager Jurgen Klopp will be the making the final call on either signing a new player or not.
