The Merseyside outfit Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had earlier stated that he will not involve in big money deals in the coming summer transfer window as he argued that he has got a good squad and he will need to keep them together.

Daily Mail reports that the German boss might be wrong, noting that there could still be some big money spending if they must add quality to their squad in the coming summer window.

Although, it is understandable that the Reds team had involved in big money spending in the last summer window after bringing in Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton for £75 million and Alisson Becker from AS Roma for £65 million but the result against Barcelona has proved that there is a need for more.

One cannot argue that the last summer signings made some big effects as the Reds now have the cleanest sheets in the English Premier League which means that they have been able to solve the defensive issues.

But the fact that the Reds team failed to score against Barcelona means that a lot is needed to be done as regards the attacking force which the former Borussia Dortmund boss must pay attention to.
