Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward Neymar could leave the club for just €170m according to latest reports emerging from Spain.
It was revealed that the Brazilian international has a release clause in his current deal with PSG and that it could be activated after three years with the French capital club.
The new development was revealed by popular Spanish news portal Mundo Deportivo.
According to the media outlet, Neymar can leave PSG for just €170m in the summer of 2020.
Fans of Manchester United and Real Madrid would be delighted with the news of the clause with both clubs said to be interested in him especially the Spanish giants.
Neymar became the most expensive player in world football history when he swapped Barcelona for PSG at the start of last season.
PSG activated the €220m in his then contract at Barcelona to sign him in the summer of 2017.
His time at PSG has not gone as smoothly as the Brazilian player would have liked after battling injuries over his two seasons at the club.
Neymar has been missing at PSG at crucial stages of the season over the last two campaigns.
He has scored 20 goals in all competitions for PSG this season with 13 goals and six assists in just 15 league games this term.

Prolific Midfield Maestro On The Verge Of Signing Contract With Man United
It seems United fans are beginning to see the end of their team’s recent unimpressive performances after Solskjaer’s men put up a commendable display in yesterday’s 1-1 stalemate with Liverpool at Old Trafford.
If they maintain such performance throughout the remaining matches in the season, they will definitely be among the top-four clubs.
To some off-the-pitch issues, young midfielder Angel Gomes is closed to extending his stay with the 20-time Premier League champions following his promotion to the first-team squad.
The midfielder was involved in United’s pre-season tour prior to the start of the season and Solskjaer decided not to loan him to interested suitors.

According to a well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter account, the Red Devils hierarchy are in talks with the youngster and he could be awarded a new deal in the coming days.
“He’s close to extending his contract with Man United__ more on next days… #MUFC” he wrote on his verified Twitter account.
However, it remains to be seen if the youngster won’t be sent on a loan deal in January as he might find it hard to get regular game-time under Solskjaer should United sign new midfielders in the winter transfer window.
How Liverpool Failed In EPL Record Bid Against United
Premier League leaders Liverpool were not successful in their bid to set a new record for consecutive wins following their visit to arch rivals Manchester United.
Liverpool and Manchester United are the top two most successful teams on the English football scene and they met at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
Premier League leaders Liverpool went into the Manchester United game on the back of 17 straight league wins dating back to the goalless draw at the home of Merseyside rivals Everton in March.

The Reds were bidding to match the Premier League record of 18 consecutive victories set by Manchester City two years ago.
A win for Liverpool over Manchester United at the weekend would have seen the Reds equal that winning record.
Manchester United were able to stop Liverpool from continuing that winning run in the Premier League after the two teams played out a 1-1 draw in a week nine encounter at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
The Red Devils were well on their way to a big victory at the expense of visitors Liverpool until second half substitute Adam Lallana rescued a point for the away team.
England international star Marcus Rashford had earlier given Manchester United a first half lead before the late equaliser from Lallana.

Donny Van Der Beek has been one of the standout midfielders on the European football scene in the last one year.
He was part of the Ajax Amsterdam side that surprised a lot of football fans by getting to the Champions League semifinals last season.
In addition, Ajax Amsterdam won two trophies last season.
Donny Van Der Beek and Ajax Amsterdam won the Dutch Eredivisie title ahead of rivals PSV Eindhoven.
Ajax also won the Dutch Cup to complete a double for the first time in over a decade.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan are also interested in the midfielder.
United Summer Signing Picked Out For Praise After Awesome Showing Against Liverpool
Manchester manager Solskjaer was obviously pleased with his side’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Sunday. The Red Devils were under pressure to deliver a perfect result against an in-form Jurgen Klopp’s men who are yet to taste defeat this season.
The underdogs opened the scoring in the 36th minute via Marcus Rashford’s effort after an in-swinging cross from summer signing Daniel James.
The Old Trafford outfit were just five minutes from recording a famous victory over their longtime rivals when Adam Lallana put the ball behind De Gea to help his team earned a draw.
Speaking after the game, Solskjaer singled out former Swansea midfielder Daniel James for praise following his awesome showing against the Reds.

“He’s brave, he gets kicked, gets up again, gets kicked, gets up again, and he must be a nightmare to play against when he gets this type of space and the boy has been a delight to work with and he and Marcus played really well today.”
Since his move to the Theatre of Dreams in the summer, the young England star has been sensational for the team despite the club’s poor run of results.
James definitely has a bright future ahead of him and he could be the creative player the midfield is lacking in recent months.
Why Man Utd Won’t Spend £60m On This Goalscoring Midfielder
Scotland international John McGinn is arguably the best player in Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side but that could change in January as United are very much keen on capturing the young midfielder.
Three goals from nine games, McGinn is one of the club’s leading goalscorers and the manager has revealed his readiness to block United from snatching the 25-year-old from his watch in the winter transfer window.
According to the Aston Villa manager, it’s no surprise that the midfielder’s price tag has increased [from £2.75m to £60m] since the start of the season because his performances have obviously improved to another level of greatness.

“His value shot up from the moment he went out onto Villa Park and showed what a player he is. He has an unbelievable energy level, a big, big heart but people don’t see the technical side of it as well – he’s got that in abundance.
“He’s continued that form in the Premier League and his value would have certainly shot up but he’s a player who we want at Aston Villa.”
As much as nothing is impossible, I don’t see United spending such huge money on a player who hasn’t played for any top European clubs in his career.
