Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny could miss out of the upcoming Premier League game with relegation battlers Brighton and Hove Albion according to Gunners boss Unai Emery.
The Gunners host the Seagulls in their penultimate league game of the season and Frenchman Koscielny could sit out the game which Arsenal have to win to boost their hopes of finishing in the top four places at the end of this Premier League season.
According to Unai Emery, Koscielny went off during the Europa League game against Spanish club Valencia as a result of fatigue and that he could rest him for the Brighton game with an eye on the second leg meeting with Valencia.
Arsenal have established a 3-1 lead from the first leg of their semifinal tie on Thursday as they had to come from a goal down after goals from Alexandre Lacazette (2) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang canceled out the opener from Moukthar Diakhaby.
Unai Emery talked about the possibility of Laurent Koscielny missing the Brighton game on Sunday evening during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
Arsenal can seal a Champions League place for next season by winning the Europa League and can also qualify via the league route.
They are still within a shout of the Champions League places ahead of the final two games of the season starting with the Brighton match at the Emirates Stadium.
