Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has played his last game for the club after it was revealed that he will miss the rest of the season.
Ramsey sustained a hamstring injury during the second leg of the Gunners’ Europa League semifinal tie with Italian Serie A giants Napoli.
His injury overshadowed the 1-0 win at Napoli for Arsenal manager Unai Emery and his players.
According to Sky Sports, Ramsey will miss the rest of the season as a result of the aforementioned injury.
Unai Emery has earlier been optimistic about the injury as he was hopeful that the Welsh international star will play again for the Gunners this season.
Since the injury to Ramsey, Arsenal have not won a game.
As a matter of fact, Arsenal have lost all their three games since the injury to Aaron Ramsey.
The Welshman is expected to join Italian champions Juventus in the summer having already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Old Lady.
The 28-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Juventus said to be worth £400,000 on a weekly basis thus making him the most expensive British footballer in history.
Aaron Ramsey has been at Arsenal since the summer of 2008 when he signed for the Gunners as a teenager having come through the Cardiff City Academy.
