Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he has not been offered Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this year.

Guardiola further revealed that the Frenchman remains a Manchester United player.

The Manchester City manager talked about Paul Pogba during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday ahead of the Manchester Derby on Wednesday night.

Paul Pogba was offered to Pep Guardiola by his agent last year as revealed by the Manchester City manager.

Guardiola told reporters about the Pogba offer ahead of last season’s Manchester Derby at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola will take his Manchester City side to the Theatre of Dreams with the aim of moving a step closer to retaining the Premier League title they won in record-breaking style last season.

Manchester City have to beat Manchester United to usurp Liverpool at the Premier League summit.

The Citizens currently trail league leaders and title challengers Liverpool by two points with a game in hand.

The extra game advantage over Liverpool is the Manchester Derby clash with the Red Devils and only a win would do for the Citizens who are bidding to become only the third team to win the Premier League title and retain it in the next season.

Manchester City have a good record at Old Trafford having won five out of their last seven games there.
