Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been named on the Team of the Week for Matchweek 34 set of games after his match-winning display for the Red Devils against West Ham United at the weekend.

The French World Cup winner scored two goals for Manchester United in their fortunate win over the Hammers at Old Trafford.

He was one of eleven players named on the list compiled by BBC pundit Garth Crooks who was a former striker for clubs like Stoke City and North London giants Tottenham Hotspur.

Paul Pogba scored his brace from the spot either side of the halftime interval to hand his team three valuable points in the quest to finish the current Premier League season in the top four.

He gave Manchester United the lead in the 14th minute from 12 yards out after Juan Manuel Mata was adjudged to have been fouled by West Ham midfielder Robert Snodgrass.

West Ham United equalised at the start of the second half through Brazilian star Felipe Anderson only for Pogba to score his second penalty of the season after Hammers substitute Ryan Fredericks fouled Anthony Martial in the box.

The win for Manchester United took them to within two points of fourth-placed Chelsea having played a game less.
