Crystal Palace Winger Dismisses Man Utd Return Transfer Rumours

Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has debunked transfer reports linking him with a return to three-time European champions Manchester United ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The Ivorian international has seen his form soar in recent weeks and that has reportedly attracted attention from the big Premier League clubs including Manchester United.

Zaha told Sky Sports that his focus is on Crystal Palace and that he’s not looking to leave the club this summer.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has revealed in one of his recent press conferences that Zaha will definitely stay beyond this summer as he has a long-term contract with the Eagles.

The former Manchester United winger has five years left on his contract with the club as pointed out by ex-England national team manager Hodgson.

Wilfried Zaha was the last signing of the Sir Alex Ferguson era at Manchester United in 2013 but his move to Old Trafford didn’t work out as expected.

The 26-year-old joined Manchester United from Crystal Palace for £15m in January 2013 before he was loaned out to the Eagles for the rest of the season.

The Ivorian attacker has been the star player at Crystal Palace since he returned to his boyhood club permanently two years after his transfer to the Theatre of Dreams.
