Porto manager Sergio Conseicao has reacted to reports that his team will go all out to revenge against Liverpool when they clash in the Champions League quarter-finals later on Thursday.

It would be recalled that both sides met in the Champions League wound of 16 last seasons and the Merseyside outfit secured qualification to the next round with a 5-0 aggregate and that was enough to end the hope of the Portuguese side and lead Liverpool to the finals of the competition.

However, the Porto boss has stated that it is not about revenge but about playing football as he noted that the better side had won the game.

According to him, last season is gone and it is has become history, stressing that football has a lot to do with history and that would be placed behind his team to face the new game.

The Porto boss stressed that he is only focused on making his team better as well as ensuring that their qualities are being displayed  to enable them stop the Reds team this time around.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have their attention on winning the Champions League as well as the Premier League, hence they will look forward to going past Porto.
