Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly drawn up a transfer shortlist in the bid to potentially replace first choice goalkeeper David De Gea at the club.

This is according to the publication from trusted English news outlet Daily Mirror.

It was revealed that Manchester United are preparing for the possible exit of De Gea who has just one year left on his current contract at the club.

The Red Devils have already made a transfer shortlist of goalkeepers headed by Everton shot stopper Jordan Pickford who has come under severe criticism for his inconsistent displays for the Toffees this season.

David De Gea has been at Manchester United for the better part of the last decade after signing for the Red Devils from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in 2011 for a fee believed to be around £18.3m.

He had few months left on his contract before Manchester United activated the extra year clause to take him to the summer of 2020.

Atletico Madrid and Manchester United have a good history when it comes to transfers and the Red Devils could turn to one of their players in the quest to replace De Gea.

Atletico Madrid shot stopper Jan Oblak is also on the transfer shortlist for goalkeepers at Manchester United.
