Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho has pointed out the twin threat from the Manchester United duo of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku ahead of their Champions League meeting this week.
The former Liverpool man highlighted the threat posed by both Lukaku and Pogba in an interview with the Daily Mirror.
Coutinho and Barcelona face Manchester United at the Theatre of Dreams in the first leg on Wednesday night before the second leg scheduled for the Nou Camp next week Tuesday.
Brazilian international Coutinho is certain that Barcelona can reduce the threat from Manchester United if they can keep both Lukaku and Pogba quiet.
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku was one of the standout performers for Manchester United in the last round against French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Lukaku scored a brace in the second leg to lead the Red Devils to a 3-1 away win over PSG.
The win was enough to seal the Red Devils’ spot in the quarterfinals of the competition despite the fact that they lost their home leg 2-0.
Paul Pogba missed that second leg due to suspension but his teammates including Lukaku completed one of the major turnarounds in the history of the Champions League to secure a last eight berth.
