Premier League giants Manchester United have received a major blow in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho following the news that their transfer target is not for sale.
According to Borussia Dortmund executive director Hans-Joachim Watzke, Jadon Sancho is not for sale amidst heavy transfer reports linking him with a move back to the Premier League.
Jadon Sancho is widely regarded as one of the most promising young talents on the European football scene.
He has been one of the key performers for Borussia Dortmund in their run to the top of the German Bundesliga table.
Sancho and Dortmund are on course to end their seven-year wait for the league title with the Champions League campaigners two points ahead of title rivals Bayern Munich who have won the last six league titles in the German top flight.
Jadon Sancho signed for Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season after getting frustrated with a lack of first-team opportunities at Premier League champions Manchester City.
The 19-year-old has been in very good form for Borussia Dortmund and he was also able to make his international debut towards the end of last year.
Sancho has become a mainstay of the England squad since his debut against Croatia last year.
