Arsenal Midfielder Delighted With Latest League Win

Arsenal midfielder Mohamed ElNeny has expressed his delight at the recent run of form from the Gunners in the quest to seal qualification for Champions League next season via a top-four spot in the Premier League.

ElNeny and Arsenal are in pole position for one of the remaining two Champions League place ahead of the final seven games of the season.

Egyptian international Mohamed ElNeny took to his social media account (Twitter) to express his happiness towards the straightforward 2-0 win over Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium in what was the Gunners’ last game played on Monday night.

ElNeny came off the bench for the final 23 minutes to help the Gunners to an easy win over the Magpies.

Goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette in the first half and second half respectively gave Arsenal the three points at stake against the Magpies.

Arsenal have put themselves in a fantastic position in the keenly contested race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Gunners are in third place with 63 points ahead of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur (61 points), Manchester United (61 points) and Chelsea (60 points).

Arsenal can also qualify for Champions League football via the Europa League with a quarterfinal tie against Napoli on the horizon.
