Former Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc has said that the fun times are back at the club under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
In a chat with media outlet Omnisport, Laurent Blanc heaped high praise on his former teammate for the job that he has done at the club.
Manchester United started the season poorly under Jose Mourinho as the Red Devils made their worst start to the Premier League era under the Portuguese tactician.
Mourinho was sacked in December as a result of the poor start of the season in addition to his feud with the club’s senior players including Paul Pogba.
Former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss Mourinho was replaced by former club striker Solskjaer shortly after his dismissal.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer impressed a great deal while he was the manager on an interim basis and his performance got him the job permanently.
The Norwegian tactician won 14, drew two and lost three out of the 19 games managed by him during his time as the interim Manchester United manager.
He was given the job permanently on Thursday before leading the team to a 2-1 win over London club Watford at Old Trafford at the weekend.
Solskjaer and his Manchester United team were then beaten 2-1 by Wolves on Tuesday night.
