Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was in no mood to paper the cracks after the Red Devils produced a below-par performance against Watford in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
The England international left-back tore into his team as he pointed out that Manchester United were sloppy against the Hornets.
Luke Shaw further told reporters after the game that Manchester United were lucky to come away with a 2-1 win at the end of their league encounter with the Hornets.
Watford were obviously the better side and they would have gotten more out of the game if they had taken the chances that came their way especially in the first half.
Luke Shaw was one of the few bright spots for Manchester United during the game.
His fantastic run on the left side of the Manchester United attack in the buildup to the first goal of the game scored by Marcus Rashford was exceptional.
Anthony Martial added a second goal for the hosts in the 72nd minute after the first half goal from the aforementioned Rashford.
Abdoulaye Doucoure halved the deficit for Manchester United in the dying moments of the game but Manchester United held on to take the points and secure a place in the Premier League as a result.
