Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has thrown his weight behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the permanent managerial role at the club.
Serbian international Matic is certain that Solskjaer is a great manager and he believes the former Red Devils striker is the man to take the club forward.
He spoke about Manchester United and Solskjaer in a chat with the ESPN.
Nemanja Matic also revealed that the quartet of Solskjaer, Mike Phelan, Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna work together as a team for Manchester United.
The club should retain them for the permanent role according to the former Chelsea and Benfica player.
Manchester United have been transformed since Solskjaer was made the interim manager till the end of the season.
He replaced Jose Mourinho in December after the Portuguese manager was sacked for poor result.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won 14 games out of the last 19 games managed by the former Cardiff City and Molde manager.
The fantastic run has lifted the Red Devils to within two points of rivals Arsenal in the race to qualify for the Champions League next season.
