Italian Serie A champions Juventus are eyeing a move for AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
According to the report from popular Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the Old Lady would like to sign Greek international centre back Manolas when the transfer window reopens in few months time.
Kostas Manolas has been a key player for AS Roma since his transfer to the Italian capital club from Greek club Olympiacos in the summer of 2014.
Roma won the race to sign the 27-year-old ahead of North London giants Arsenal but the Gunners have been linked with a move for him at various periods since his move to Italy.
Kostas Manolas was a key component of the AS Roma squad that reached the Champions League semifinal last season before they were controversially dumped out of the competition by Liverpool via a 6-5 aggregate defeat.
The Italians have not been able to hit the same heights in the competition this season after they were eliminated by Portuguese champions FC Porto in their last 16 tie.
FC Porto sealed a last eight spot at the expense of AS Roma via a 4-3 aggregate win.
Apart from the Gunners, Greek international star Manolas has been linked with other Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.
