The bad results from Chelsea have not gone well with the players and the manager in addition to the pressure on Maurizio Sarri to deliver good results.
However, it has been revealed by Ruben Loftus-Cheek that former Leicester City star Danny Drinkwater has been easing the pressure and tension in the dressing room with his jokes.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains the oldest player in the Stamford Bridge following the departure of John Mikel Obi, Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic, Diego Costa and John Terry as he has been at the club since he was eight.
He has noted that the Chelsea team used to be a quiet side especially in the dressing room because of the seriousness but the coming of Danny Drinkwater has been able to create that light atmosphere in the dressing room because of his jokes.
This remains a surprise as stated by Ruben Loftus-Cheek because Danny Drinkwater has not made a single appearance for the West London outfit this season as he has not been favoured by the Italian manager.
Meanwhile, he pushed for a move in the last winter transfer window but it didn’t work through as he was blocked by the manager to have him as an option in the team.
