Euro 2020 Qualifiers: Ex-Man Utd Winger Praised For Netherlands Impact

Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has praised the impact of former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay after his sensational performance against Belarus in the first game of their Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Former Everton manager Koeman showered high praise on Depay in his post-match reaction with media outlet NOS after his Netherlands side trashed Belarus 4-0 in Amsterdam.
Ronald Koeman was not too happy with the performance of his team but he singled out the aforementioned Depay for special praise.
Memphis Depay has resurrected his career at French Ligue 1 club Lyon following a difficult two years at Premier League giants Manchester United.
The Dutch winger signed for Manchester United in 2015 and Depay endured a largely unfruitful spell at the club until he left the club for Lyon in January 2017.
Manchester United have a buyback clause in the contract that took Memphis Depay to Lyon.
Depay gave the Netherlands the lead against the Belarusians inside the first minute before providing the assist for the second goal scored by Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
The in-form winger went on to add a third goal for the Netherlands from the spot before providing his second assist of the game for Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk to wrap up the convincing victory for the three-time World Cup finalists.
