North London giants Arsenal want to sign Manchester United defender Antonio Valencia when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Gunners interest in Valencia was confirmed by his agent and father in a chat with media outlet El Universo.
Antonio Valencia’s father revealed that the London duo of Arsenal and West Ham United are keen to sign his son upon the expiration of his contract at Old Trafford.
The Ecuadorian international has just few months left on his current deal with Manchester United.
It was also revealed that Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan are also interested in him as well as an unnamed club from China.
Antonio Valencia has battled for form and fitness at Manchester United this season.
His agent has already confirmed that the player will leave Manchester United this summer after his contract at the club ends.
Valencia has played just one game since interim Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December.
His lone appearance under Solskjaer came in the Premier League win over Newcastle United.
Valencia played 90 minutes St right-back to help the Red Devils to a 2-0 away win over the Magpies.
The player joined Manchester United from Wigan Athletic in 2009 and he has spent the last decade at Old Trafford.
