West London outfit Chelsea boss has been told to field youngster Ethan Ampadu as he can be trusted after leaving him out of the Europa League clash against Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday.
Chelsea delivered a 3-0 win at the Stamford Bridge in their first leg before another 5-0 win in the second leg to seal their qualification to the quarterfinals.
Owen Hargreaves laments why Ethan Ampadu was left out of the game as he called on the Italian boss to give the Welshman a chance in the team.
Despite being 18 years of age, Ethan Ampadu has been tipped to be one of the best amongst his ranks and also a big prospect that does not need to be hidden on the bench.
Ethan Ampadu has not played any Premier League game so far this season with five appearances in the Europa League and the FA Cup, all together.
Owen Hargreaves has argued that Callum Hudson-Odoi has been a fantastic player for Chelsea, insisting that Ethan Ampadu is of the same quality and can deliver the same performance.
The former player said he would love to see Ethan Ampadu have more opportunities, hinting that the Europa League can be a good deal for him.
