AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has revealed his status as an Arsenal fan in his latest interview with Italian news outlet Tuttosport.
The Polish international star told the media portal about his love for the North London club in a Q & A session.
Piatek also pointed out that he loved the then Arsenal style under legendary manager Arsene Wenger before adding that he idolised both Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp while he was growing up as an Arsenal fan.
Frenchman Arsene Wenger attained legendary status at Arsenal after leading the Gunners to three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup titles during his 22-year stay in North London.
The former AS Monaco manager famously led the club through the league season without a single defeat during the 2004/05 campaign.
In addition, Arsenal reached the 2006 Champions League final under his watch before they were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona.
Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp were an integral part of the Arsenal successes under Arsene Wenger especially during the first half of his tenure at the club.
Piatek has been following in the footsteps of his idols by scoring goals in the Italian Serie A.
The Polish striker netted 19 goals in his first 21 games for Genoa in his first six months at the club and that earned him a £30m move to AC Milan where he has continued his good goalscoring form.
EPL: Arsenal set to overtake Man United in the chase for Alex Luna
Man United were earlier reported to be ahead in the race to sign Argentina international wonderkid Alex Luna but they are set to be overtaken by Arsenal with interest already shown.
Alex Luna is the talk in town across Europe for many agents as he has been impressive with Rafaela, especially with his outing in the last season before it was ended by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
A report by AS which cited MilanLive, claims that the 16-year-old is attracting interest from the North London outfit while Man United and Man City are also making moves to land him.

Italian Serie A outfit AS Milan are also in the race for Alex Luna alongside Juventus but Man United and Arsenal have been favoured for the deal if he is to leave his current club in Argentina.
However, due to his age, Alex Luna will not be able to leave Argentina until he is 18 even if he agrees on a deal with any club now.
With every possibility that Alex Luna will be heading straight to the first team of the club he will eventually sign for, his suitors will not get him any cheap because of how highly valued he is.
EPL: Will Arsenal take This Opportunity For Dele Alli
English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been told to take the opportunity of sapping up Dele Alli from their North London rivals Tottenham this summer transfer window.
Dele Alli has been linked away from Tottenham this summer transfer window as he seems to have fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho. The speculations became more serious after he was left out of their last league game.
A former Tottenham ad England international Darren Bent has told the Gunners to take advantage of the happenings on the other side of North London to prise Dele Alli away.

While speaking on talkSport, Darren Bent noted that despite all that is happening to the 24-year-old, it is normal for players to have a need for a fresh challenge.
He added that the player has already clashed with the former Man United manager and that makes him need a new start elsewhere. However, he hinted that Dele Alli will be a good fit for Arsenal if manager Mikel Arteta can see the need of him.
It is believed that Arsenal are still in the market for more buys this summer window with Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey as possible deals but it is uncertain if the Gunners will look the direction of the Tottenham man.
AS Roma’s talks for Alexandre Lacazette deal confirmed
It has been confirmed by The Athletic reporter David Ornstein that Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma made efforts to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette from the English Premier League outfit Arsenal earlier in the transfer window.
Alexandre Lacazette was earlier linked away from the North London outfit with reports that he is unhappy at the club and would be used as a bait to snap up other targets, including Thomas Partey.
All of the speculations have been laid to rest as it is confirmed that the former Lyon striker will now be staying at the Emirates Stadium and might enter talks of a contract extension in the coming months.

Alexandre Lacazette will now continue his friendship with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the Gabon international also recently confirmed his stay at the club by signing a new deal.
However, some names have been listed as part of those that will be leaving Arsenal this season and the French man is not part of the list. Those affected are Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, and Sokratis Papa.
EPL: This player Arsenal seek to sell Is already in talks with Serie A outfit
Arsenal are reported to be in talks with Italian Serie A outfit Lazio over the signature of Shkodran Mustafi and a deal that will take him to Italy is likely to happen this week.
It is understood that the 28-year-old is not in the plans of manager Mikel Arteta this season and has been told to move on as the Spanish manager will prefer Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, David Luiz, and William Saliba ahead of him.
Shkodran Mustafi has just one year left on his deal at the Emirates Stadium and the North London outfit are keen to cash in from his sale this summer window as there are still other deals to spend on this summer window.\

Auba became an Arsenal player in January 2018 following his multi-million pounds transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
Arsenal spent a record fee of £57m to secure his signing but that has been eclipsed by fellow attacker Nicholas Pepe who joined the North London giants last summer in a £72m transfer.
Pepe left French club Lille to join the Gunners at the start of last season.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also gave two factors as being crucial behind his decision to stay at Arsenal.
The former AC Milan and Saint Etienne player had less than a year left on his existing Arsenal contract before he signed a two-year contract extension until 2023.
According to him, the love and affection of the Arsenal fans was a major factor in addition to the vision of manager Mikel Arteta for the club.
Inter Milan were also interested in his services.
EPL: Arsenal Table Houssem Aouar Bid
Reigning FA Cup champions Arsenal have tabled a bid for Lyon skipper Houssem Aouar as they bid to sign the Frenchman before the transfer window ends in a few days’ time.
According to Football London, the Gunners have made a bid of £36.5m plus £10m in add-ons with the belief that it will be enough to prise Aouar away from Lyon.
The North Londoners had earlier made a bid of £32m for the 22-year-old but it was rejected by Lyon with the French club holding out for more.
Aouar is the main target for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta for the rest of this summer’s transfer window as he looks to improve the creativity in his team.

Arsenal struggled on the creative front during their last league game at home to West Ham United.
Young striker Eddie Nketiah scored the winning goal of the game off the bench to give the Gunners a 2-1 win over the Hammers.
The win ensured that Arteta and Arsenal maintained their perfect start to the season but that will be tested when they face Premier League champions, Liverpool, away from home.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool have a 100% winning record.
Apart from those two teams, Everton and Leicester City also have a perfect record in this season’s Premier League campaign till date.
Lyon Set Price For Arsenal Target Houssem Aouar
Former French champions Lyon have set an asking price for skipper Houssem Aouar who has been actively pursued by Arsenal in this transfer window.
According to the club president Jean Michel Aulas, Aouar will leave the club if the Gunners can pay between €40m to €50m.
This is contrary to earlier reports which claimed that Aulas was holding out for €60m for the talented midfielder.
Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas is a tough negotiator but the need for finance has prompted him to soften his stance on the potential Houssem Aouar transfer to Arsenal.

Aulas was disappointed with the attitude of the Lyon players as they played out a 1-1 draw with Lorient. He further said that players that want to leave Lyon this summer can go ahead.
Key Lyon players such as Houssem Aouar and Memphis Depay have been seriously linked with moves away.
Dutchman Depay is a target for new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman at the Nou Camp.
For Frenchman Aouar, Arsenal are confident that they will sign him.
The Gunners had earlier made a bid of €36m which was turned down by his team.
