AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has revealed his status as an Arsenal fan in his latest interview with Italian news outlet Tuttosport.
The Polish international star told the media portal about his love for the North London club in a Q & A session.
Piatek also pointed out that he loved the then Arsenal style under legendary manager Arsene Wenger before adding that he idolised both Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp while he was growing up as an Arsenal fan.
Frenchman Arsene Wenger attained legendary status at Arsenal after leading the Gunners to three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup titles during his 22-year stay in North London.
The former AS Monaco manager famously led the club through the league season without a single defeat during the 2004/05 campaign.
In addition, Arsenal reached the 2006 Champions League final under his watch before they were beaten 2-1 by Barcelona.
Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp were an integral part of the Arsenal successes under Arsene Wenger especially during the first half of his tenure at the club.
Piatek has been following in the footsteps of his idols by scoring goals in the Italian Serie A.
The Polish striker netted 19 goals in his first 21 games for Genoa in his first six months at the club and that earned him a £30m move to AC Milan where he has continued his good goalscoring form.
