Tottenham could also be a beneficiary of the transfer development which saw Zinedine Zidane return as the manager of the Spanish La Liga outfit.

The North London outfit have been keeping tabs on Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic who is currently on loan at the West London outfit Chelsea and this could just be the best opportunity to land him.

It was earlier expected that Mateo Kovacic returns to the Spanish capital at the end of the season as he is not favored in the Maurizio Sarri team but that is now an issue with the return of the French manager.

Mateo Kovacic is understood to have fallen out with Zinedine Zidane, which was why he left the club to Chelsea but now that the Frenchman is back, at the point he seeks to return, there might be no going back for the midfielder anymore.

This gives hope to the West London outfit who are looking to have Mateo Kovacic as a replacement for Mousa Dembele who is away to the Chinese Super League.

However, the player could opt for a move to the other side of London where he is certain to find more playing time and a hope of a Champions League football next season.
