Arsenal director Josh Kroenke has told fans that trust will have to be earned and contract rebels will be sold henceforth.
Josh Kroenke is the son of Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke.
According to the publication from Football London, Josh Kroenke told Arsenal fans that the Gunners are keen to avoid previous contract standoffs involving players like Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey.
Josh Kroenke met with the club fans at the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust shortly before Sunday’s 2-0 win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
Arsenal boosted their top-four hopes with victory over the Red Devils.
The North Londoners have been involved in situations where players run down their contracts at the club and Josh Kroenke is keen to put an end to that.
Alexis Sanchez ran down his contract till the last six months before moving to Manchester United in January 2018 in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
In addition, Aaron Ramsey has agreed on a pre-contract agreement with Italian Serie A champions Juventus after running down his contract at the club.
He will leave the club in the summer when his Arsenal contract expires.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-year Juventus contract worth £400,000 per week.
