Former Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has revealed the details about the famous tunnel fight between Patrick Vieira and Roy Keane.

Frenchman Vieira and Roy Keane were the captains of Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.

Darren Fletcher told UTD Unscripted about the details of the famous bust-up between the two ex-players during the Premier League clash involving Arsenal and Manchester United at Highbury in 2015 shortly before the Gunners moved to the Emirates Stadium.

Trouble started when some Arsenal players taunted Manchester United defender Gary Neville in the dressing room.

In the defence of his teammate, ex-Republic of Ireland international Roy Keane confronted Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira with the backing of his teammates.

Darren Fletcher further revealed that the Arsenal players didn’t know that Roy Keane had the backing of the Manchester United players over his confrontation with Vieira.

Arsenal players had told Vieira to leave Roy Keane and not react to him.

Ex-West Brom midfielder Fletcher went on to say that Roy Keane had the situation under control.

Darren Fletcher currently plays his club football at Stoke City and he was one of the youngest players in the Manchester United at that time at the age of 21.

Roy Keane and Manchester United had the last laugh following the 4-2 away win over Arsenal on that day.
