West London outfit boss Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that the club cannot count on Ruben Loftus-Cheek so far this season because he has not fully fit to play a full game.
However, the Italian boss has stated that he would not seek to have Ruben Loftus-Cheek to be on his starting line-up at the moment due to fitness concerns and strength of the team.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is known to be having injury concerns and that has been the major setback for his career as a result of back issues. He was ruled out some few weeks ago in Chelsea’s FA Cup Third Round match against Nottingham Forest in January.
Since then, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has not started any game for the West London outfit but he has seen about five appearances coming from the bench.
However, Manager Maurizio Sarri has stated that the recovery process continues for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and he will continue to observe his progress in training to determine when he would be fully available for a full game.
Meanwhile, the former Napoli boss is not interested in gambling his team as the struggle to have a top-four finish is still in progress with about nine Premier League games to go.
