Juan Mata Ruled Out Of PSG, Arsenal Clashes
Manchester United midfielder Juan Manuel Mata has revealed that he won’t play a part for the club in the upcoming clashes against Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Arsenal.
The Red Devils will face the French champions in the second leg of their last 16 tie on Wednesday night before a visit to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal as the race for the Premier League top four hots up.
Mata and Man Utd trail PSG 2-0 from their first leg meeting at Old Trafford.
Spanish international Juan Mata gave an update on his injury via his personal blog as he revealed that he has not recovered from the hamstring injury sustained during the Liverpool game.
Mata was one of four Manchester United players that picked up various injuries during the Liverpool game in the Premier League in February.
Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial, Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford also suffered injuries during the goalless draw with Manchester United but England international Rashford has since returned to the team.
His return has been countered by the knee injury to another Manchester United player Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean international suffered the injury during the 3-2 comeback win over Southampton in their Premier League clash at the weekend.
