Man City have now overtaken Liverpool on the league table as they are currently top on the log after their 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the weekend.

The Merseyside outfit lost their place at the top after they failed to see off Everton on Sunday in the derby game as both sides failed to find the back of the net until the sound of the final whistle.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola who expressed delight in the development said his side have improved and they are now better than they used to be, stressing that they are ready and up for the challenge until the end of the season.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager stated that he would be disappointed if his side fail to win the league because they deserve it with the hard work and motivation they already have.

However, the Citizens are currently in pursuit of three different titles, the FA Cup, the EPL and the Champions League. They have already secured the Carabao Cup with the victory over Chelsea in the last weekend.

Pep Guardiola says they are not under any pressure, they are calm and joyful in the dressing room with the players believing that there is more to win.
