English Premier League outfit Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has stated that all of the pressure is now on Man City after they took over as league leaders following their 1-0 win against Bournemouth at the weekend.
Liverpool could not see past Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday with the game ending in a stalemate which makes the Citizens go one point clear off the summit.
With 9 games left until the end of the season, a winner has not been decided and cannot be predicted which makes the pressure and intensity higher than it was in the past weeks and with Man City being at the top, they will be affected the most.
Andy Robertson, therefore, says his Liverpool team are now the chasers which take the pressure off them. He stressed that the fight has just begun as they are ready to give all it takes until the whistle is blown at the end of the season.
According to him, the goalless draw cannot stop Liverpool from winning the league but will only propel them to do better in the next games.
It would be recalled that Liverpool narrowly defeated Everton in the first leg of the Merseyside derby by 1-0.
