Merseyside outfit Liverpool ‘venom’ would be unleashed against Everton in the Merseyside derby later today at the Goodison Park.

The Reds are hoping to edge the Blues team later on Sunday so as to maintain the one-point lead on the Premier League table ahead of Man City.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has described Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold as the man to destroy the Blues owing to his great form at the moment. The Liverpool star reminds him of the clubs’ legend Steven Gerrard.

The Arsenal legend has showered praise on the star player, stressing that he would contribute immensely to ensuring the fall of the Toffees in the derby.

In his analysis, Martin Keown noted that Everton are more vulnerable especially in terms of crosses which makes it difficult to stop Trent Alexander-Arnold in the game, knowing that he will pull more of them in games.

The Arsenal legend stressed that Trent Alexander-Arnold has got the natural talent for his role and could use it as the weapon to destroy Everton in the Saturday game.

However, a win for Liverpool will hand them hope to Liverpool’s title bid against Man City at the end of the season.
